Beginning Tuesday, February 18, 2025, bankruptcy hearings will no longer be held in the Brazos Courtroom or adjacent hearing room on the fifth floor of the Pete V. Domenici U.S. Courthouse. 

For the most part, final hearings and trials for both Judge Jacobvitz and Judge Thuma will be held in the Jemez Courtroom located on the third floor of the Pete V. Domenici U.S. Courthouse, next to the Clerk’s Office. In addition to the Jemez Courtroom, the Vista Conference Room and one of the small attorney conference rooms located just outside the Jemez Courtroom will be used as a hearing room for preliminary hearings, scheduling conferences, and status conferences. The Vista Conference Room is located on the second floor of the Pete V. Domenici U.S. Courthouse. All preliminary chapter 13 matters on regularly scheduled chapter 13 hearing dates will be held in the Vista Conference Room. Please check the schedule that will be posted each day outside the Jemez Courtroom for the correct location of the hearings set that day.
